1.Heatexchanger:
HeatexchangerisoneofthekeycomponentsofRTOsystem,usuallycomposedofceramicormetalfillers.Beforeenteringthecombustionchamber,theexhaustgasisfirstpreheatedthroughaheatexchanger.Duringthisprocess,theheatexchangerabsorbstheheatgeneratedduringthepreviouscombustionprocessandtransfersittotheincomingexhaustgas,therebyachievingenergyrecoveryandpreheating,andimprovingtheenergyefficiencyofthesystem.
2.Combustionchamber:

3.Cooler:
Thecoolerislocatedafterthecombustionchamberandisusedtocoolthegasaftercombustiontoasafedischargetemperature,usuallyclosetoambienttemperature.Inthecooler,waterorairisusedtolowerthetemperatureofthegas,condensewatervaporintoliquidwater,andfurtherpurifyresidualsubstancesinthegas.
4.Controlsystem:
ThecontrolsystemisthebrainoftheRTOsystem,usedtomonitorandregulatetheoperatingparametersofthesystem,ensureitsstableandefficientoperation,andmeetenvironmentalemissionstandards.Controlsystemstypicallyincludesensors,controllers,andactuatorsthatcanadjustparameterssuchascombustionchambertemperature,exhaustgasflowrate,andoxygenconcentrationinreal-time.
TheoperatingstepsofanRTO(RegenerativeThermalOxidizer)exhaustgastreatmentsystemtypicallyincludethefollowingstages:
1.Startthesystem:
Beforestartingthesystem,itisnecessarytoensurethatallcriticalequipmentisinnormalworkingcondition.
Startthecontrolsystem,initializeandpreheatthesystem.
2.Wastegasfeed:
IndustrialwastegasistransportedtotheRTOsystemthroughpipelinesorairducts.
Afterenteringthesystem,theexhaustgasfirstenterstheheatexchangerforpreheating.
3.Preheatingstage:
Theexhaustgasispreheatedtoahightemperatureclosetothecombustiontemperatureintheheatexchanger.
Theheatexchangerabsorbstheheatgeneratedbypreviouscombustionandtransfersittotheincomingexhaustgastoachieveenergyrecoveryandpreheating.
4.Oxidationstage:
Thepreheatedexhaustgasentersthecombustionchamber,isheatedtohightemperature,andexposedtosufficientoxygenenvironment.
Inthecombustionchamber,organicsubstancesintheorganicexhaustgasareoxidizedintocarbondioxideandwatervapor.
5.Coolingstage:
Theoxidizedgasissenttoacoolerandcooledbywaterorairtoreduceitstemperaturetonearambienttemperature.
Inthecooler,waterorairisusedtolowerthetemperatureofthegas,condensewatervaporintoliquidwater,andfurtherpurifyresidualsubstancesinthegas.
6.Systemshutdown:
Whenallexhaustgaseshavebeenprocessedorthesystemneedstobestopped,graduallyshutdownthecontrolsystemandcriticalequipment.
Inspectandmaintainthesystemtoensurethattheequipmentisinasafestate.
Throughouttheentireoperationprocess,itisnecessarytocloselymonitorandcontroltheoperatingparametersofthesystemtoensurestableandefficientoperation,andmeetenvironmentalemissionstandards.Thecontrolsystemcanadjustparameterssuchascombustionchambertemperature,exhaustgasflowrate,andoxygenconcentrationinrealtimetoadapttodifferentprocessconditionsandexhaustgasloads.
